Ayyyye!! I just won A Golden Guide to Creativity G Ayyyye!! I just won A Golden Guide to Creativity Guidebook from the G.O.A.T. visual storyteller herself, @asiyami_gold. You can check my stories to see how it went down.

I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I never win anything, so last night when I saw her question in Stories I almost didn't respond because of the usual deliberations like:

- she has so many followers she'd never see it
- my submission would be too late
- I wouldn't have the right answer

But it's a new year and I told myself I was no longer going to count myself out of opportunities with lame excuses and self doubt. You have no chance at winning anything if you don't even try, right?

Moral of the long caption? Go and get your that thing you've been dreaming about this year, IG fam. Sometimes what you're looking for is only a few clicks away.

Swipe right to see everything I was feeling and didn't always have the energy to express these past 10 months.

Thank you for providing the perfect soundtrack to my year-end visual story, Katy Perry! Her song RISE is 🔥

1. Go online to do real-time dinner prep and recipe exchange across households, while you blast your favorite Christmas tunes.

2. Come up with innovative dining set ups like outside patio and adjacent garden layouts to keep required distances.

3. Opt for food delivery to loved ones or schedule socially distanced drive-by pickup times.

4. Keep the good times rolling and the stories flowing with dinner via Zoom/FaceTime/ Google Duo or WhatsApp video chat.

With technology and a little innovation, no one needs to dine alone this year.

Stay safe and healthy!
